Bespoke Fashion opens the doors to the vast world of tailoring. The course focuses on the quality of the garment and especially those tailored and handmade, as well as traditional tailoring, the heritage of great masters and the future of the avant-garde.
The curriculum includes: basic design; tailoring techniques; textile science; draping for fashion; fashion design; fashion illustration; pattern making; the history of tailoring.
The course also includes: a visit to the Gucci and Ferragamo museums; an international guest lecture by a fashion industry expert; a personal project; and an individual interview with a senior teacher from the course to assess your potential and further opportunities to continue in this field of study. The whole working process and final projects will be documented in a design book, adding value to the portfolio of any fashion designer.
Participation in this course is an excellent initial stage of preparation in the fashion business, a course of study that may continue with the 4-year undergraduate degree in Fashion Design or the 9-month master’s degree in Fashion Design or Collection Design.
